TWO COUSINS. MADE TO FEED PEOPLE.
Cousins? YES, cousins.

One keeps the ideas coming, the other keeps the grill going...and somehow it all works.

We grew up around women who could turn any random Tuesday into a full table and a house full of people. Whether it was cooking, hosting, celebrating, or just making sure everybody felt welcome, that kind of love shaped both of us more than we probably realized at the time.

Le Box Lunch Café is our way of keeping that energy alive...just with less folding chairs and paper plates.

MISSY
KEY KEEPER • CULTURE CURATOR • VISIONARY
Le Box Lunch Café came into my life in 2024, but the feeling behind it is much older than that. I grew up around food that brought people together...family gatherings, homemade meals, desserts made from memory, and the kind of hospitality where nobody left hungry.

Taking over a café that had already been part of people’s routines for more than 15 years felt personal to me. I didn’t want to erase what people already loved about it...I wanted to build on it. To keep the comfort, familiarity, and everyday rhythm people counted on while bringing new energy and intention into the space.

My goal has never been to reinvent food. It’s about doing simple things exceptionally well, feeding people with care, and creating a place that feels familiar the moment you walk through the door.
SCOOTIE
STEADY HAND • GRILL KEEPER • PEOPLE FEEDER
I grew up around women who showed love through food. Some of my earliest memories are tied to the kitchen...watching meals come together, listening to conversations while something cooked on the stove, and learning that feeding people was never just about the food itself.

That’s still what I enjoy most about Le Box Lunch Café. The regulars walking in before work, the pace of a busy morning, or early afternoon; the conversations across the counter, the rhythm of the grill...it all feels familiar to me. And honestly, one of the best parts is hearing that people genuinely enjoyed what I made. Seeing somebody come back for the same thing, recommend it to someone else, or stop and say “that was good”...that’s the part that sticks with me.

For me, food has always been connected to comfort, routine, and making people feel like they’re somewhere they belong.
Mommie's Lineage Legacy. Love.

Dear Mommie,

Who would have imagined this would be our lives.

Two of your 16...17...18 grandkids (honestly, we lost count somewhere along the way) running a café, feeding people, and somehow becoming the kind of adults who finally understand why your house was always full no matter how small it was.

You taught us that bringing people together never had anything to do with having a lot...just making people feel welcome.

Your lineage, your legacy, and your love live through us every single day. We hope we’re making you proud.

Love always,
Missy & Scootie

WE'RE PROUD TO FEED OUR COMMUNITY.
Thank you for letting us be a part of your table.
